Writing for the Universe
Evidently, 'The Unread Writer' did indeed have 50,000 words in it. Actually, quite a few more than that admittedly low hurdle for declaring it a possible novel. Nevertheless, there's the great insignia verifying the accomplishment.
The next question is publication. Generally, when I've embarked on these writing forays, it has been with publication in mind. This time, I did it mostly to see if I could really vent for that long a time. Once again, the answer is in the affirmative. 'The Unread Writer' has a file, and will give me something to consider in the future.
Simply doing this appears to be helping my writing, and that has to be a good thing. One of my original goals, to actually make a few bucks at this endeavor, remains elusive. Perhaps, while my writings are generally unread, perhaps I've been writing for the universe and not some demographic.
If so, perhaps the universe will be so kind as to cut me a check. Thanks.
